I am pretty new to Torch Corals. The only one I have right now is a RRU New York Nicks. It is doing well - has two heads now. I am trying to decide between a TSA Holy Moly that has been aquacultured for many generations, and a Malaysian God which has been in a tank for several months.

I think they are both attractive I might slightly prefer the Malaysian God, but I have not seen either in person - just photos. The Malaysian God is $25 more than the TSA Holy Moly and my understanding is that it grows a lot slower. I really like the fact that the Holy Moly is aquacultured and grows faster.

Is there anything else I should consider? Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!

Honestly when spending that much, I’d go the more stable route and get the tsa holy moly. Less unknown variables than a fresher import, especially being new to torches.

Good points. Thanks for the advice!

Good luck! Both are gorgeous, love torches!
