I have had him for almost 1.5 years, he is eating algae sheets and seaweed extreme pellets but stopped eating meaty foods like mysid shrimp. Most of the time he swims around normally but he also jolts around the tank and flashes his fins randomly. All other fish are fine, tank is 225gallon with 48 gal sump. Temp is at 79.5-80 ph 8-8.2 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 nitrate 35 phos .15-.2 salinity 1.026. Has anyone experienced this with naso?

Any signs of external parasites?

Any pics?

I will take a pic, but no signs of anything and he tried to hit me with his tail barbs when I came up the the tank, he has done that a few times now haha I think he is just an aggressive a hole

Mine chowd down on his noti and seaweed and swims through the frozen most of the time. Picks here and there at it sometimes but doesn't really chow doesn't in it....but he's a fatty so I don't worry about it.

Mine is fat also and I don't think he has gotten skinnier so I hope all will be well

Out of curiosity, what are the dimensions?
A 200G tank could be a 6’ tank or an 8’ tank and they are two different sizes.

You may find he’s cramped in a 6’ tank and will want an 8’ tank due to that size. Whilst they are gentle giants they can become slightly more active as they age and I’ve found fish don’t eat when in too small of a tank. The same cause can occur with the Jolting and flashing.
