So last night my clowns were out playing being camera hogs, this morning I wake up and find my male dead, I took my water to be tested and I was told everything is pretty spot on and my salinity is spot on also, I have no predictors in my tank and no aggressive coral, I am at a loss I have no idea what happened to my male. Any suggestions? My clowns are about an inch long and have been thriving in the tank for about 2 weeks.

How long has the tank been up and running? Any pictures of the clowns to rule out a parasite?

I am truly sorry about your fish. After it passed, did you evaluate the fish for any external signs of aggression or disease?

Very sorry for your loss. There can be lot of reasons why. As morbid as it sounds I now take pictures when they die if I dont know why perhaps someone can tell me. I also put it into fresh water to see if things come off it.

I just lost a wrasse myself after two months and it was likely just she wasn’t able to compete for food.

Sadly some dont adjust to the new environment and just pass away I had a super healthy bicolor blenny, did great it was super active and great eater 3 weeks into having it, I woke up and it passed. It sucked, I loved the fish no parasites no other fish died. Sorry for your loss
