Mainly it is the auto feeder flakes or pellets does not mater. Flakes float longer and thus she will be able to eat more but must have a feeding ring or else it will go down the sump. If she eats flakes, great, get her to eat multiple times a day and she will most likely do well.
There are multiple species of wrasse in this Genus. Some are easier to keep than other. Your species is middling in term of hardiness, and very beautiful.
I have keep 4 species so far of the Macropharyngodon genus. M. negrosensis , M. meleagris, M. geoffroyi, and M. ornatus. I failed with Ornatus and Geoffroyi, less than 1 year, but able to keep the other two species for long term.
