Hi don't no if I'm in the right part but had my tank for a year now . Having trouble with my clowns as they are hosting my torch the last few months and it's not liking it much. Been looking at a malu anemone at my lfs. I've looked it up and get really mixed info on it . Just asking if anyone can help let me no if this is a good move . Many thanks

I've kept some in my time. They are very sensitive to changing water chemistry, so I suggest a 60-90 min drip acclimation period. You also need to acclimate it to your lights. They require strong lighting (I kept all mine under halides) and will kill anything they come into contact with (including fish.) I would supplemental feed mine silversides, raw shrimp, etc. about once a week.

Bubble Tip Anemone (BTA)
FYI ... Just remember if you do decide to put a BTA in the tank it doesn't guarantee that it will host the clowns:rolleyes:

Ok that's good as the malu is really to big . It's really hard to get good anemone hear in the UK. And most corals are poor

Don't no how prices differ but tell malu in my lfs was around 10" and was £45

Ok but not shore if this one was bleached as it's a creamy white colour

Some great info thanks so the one in my lfs was a good price really . But ya think it's bleached.
