Man I am dumb! Did I doom my fish

well I moved my 2 clowns, yellow tang and sailfin into a hospital tank to start treating for ich. All went well I think. Did a brief freshwater dip on the two tangs bc they had visible ich. 2 mins for sailfin, 4 mins for yellow (looked a lot worse). So I lay a piece of cardboard over the top so they can’t jump and a towel to hold it down a little. Somehow the towell and cardboard fell in the tank. God knows what poisons we’re in those things and now my yellow has a dark spot in its center. Is that from the dip or the things falling in?

It’s just stressed. I would give them hiding places and stability.

Probably stress, turn off the lights and let them be for a while.

Looking much better today. Cupremene should be here tomorrow. Ready to get these fish healthy and start doing things the right way. Only lost 2 fish but don’t want to lose any more
