Hey guys!

Man,I forgot about my SPS addiction back in 07'-08' I was looking at some old SPS pictures,and I found this one,I have it labled as a Imperal Tri Color,but obviously it isnt.

I currently no longer have this piece,but I would still like a ID on it,the base was a nice cream green color,with BRIGHT purple blue polyps!I loved the piece,and it grew moderataly under the 10k lighting.

So does anyone have a idea as to what it's named "name" is?

BTW-Sorry for the awful picture quality,this was before I had a DSLR,I was using the old Sony Cybershot!haha!

The tips of the coralites are not rounded enough.

Probably A. Nasuta.

Very nice looking coral, I love the high contrast pieces like that.

I agree, probably a "limeade" type nasuta; similar to the old school reefer madness nasuta

I had thought it might be the German Blue Polyp aswell, but I dont ever remember buying it, however, when I got this piece, was around the time that ORA had some of this piece more avail.

Did ATL have a Purple Limade Nasuta by chance?

looks like my upscales microcladus fwiw.... mine looked like that when i first got... rr grape juice would be my second thought...

the more i look at it im leaning more towards the reef ready grape juice.... nice piece i just got one last week in a trade/...

I'm not good ID'ng but we do get Indo's with blue polyps and the base is almost like a bleached out color too!

Without knowing exactly who or where you got it from it's obv only speculation. For a scientific ID it's more than likely A. Nasuta. As far as a designer name, any of the corals listed so far in this thread will give pretty much give you the color combo shown in your pic.

That is it exactly down to the coralite stucture!That is the same exact piece!lol,I figure A.nasuta!lol....

Hmm...wonder if I have $399.99 in my wallet anywhere...maybe ;-)
