I have come into my room after not emptying the cup for a few days and boy oh boy does it smell.

+1 on drinking it.

Ive been lucky. Have an Eshopps and It collects regularly without any odors
 
I wish there was some way to recycle it and use it someplace else. Like in the garden or something.
