Out of the 4 containers I've experimented, one managed to have copepod population bloom (one had pods die out, the other two did increase only a tiny bit and stayed pretty much the same afterwards).
The settings were a little different for each container. I'm going to try to replicate the result in the future but I'm not so sure if I can.
The successful container wasn't fed any phyto or flake feed. I've put in some macroalgae from ATS and a pinch of sugar + a cap full of Microbacter7 at the start and left it by the window.
It did take a while for the population to bloom.
