Mandarian feeding

Hi,
Have you guys try it? hatching baby brine shrimps?
I am doing it, I build a feeder, but this is where it fails ( kinda fails)
since baby brine shrimps are attracted to the light, they usually stay in the tube when I add them , and dont really want to swim down the tube to the feeder,

have you guys try it? any solution? pain the tube in black, so they will see the light on the bottom part?

ha!. Some escape through the mesh after I "flush" it. but my cleaner shrimp and other fish love to catch those
