Mandarin Dragonet In Horrible Condition

Hi all, need some urgent advice. My mandarin dragonet I’ve raised from when he was a baby is extremely messed up right now. His breathing is slow, all his fins are damaged, and he has these visible white patches all over. I have him in a new bare bottom tank right now, what does everyone recommend I do? I plan to TTM as well as treat Kanaplex, but I don’t know what more I can do. I have no idea what happened to him unfortunately.

Will need a better pic for best assessment as I can only see top of fish. May be bacterial but may be more. Is it still eating?

He’s been eating these past few days. I couldn’t find him today, so lifted up his favorite rock and saw how badly he looked, caught him and put him in the new tank. He didn’t eat right away when I put him in there but that isn’t very surprising. I can get better pictures when I get home, grabbing some water cause I don’t have any mixed right now.

Are there other fish in the tank? Are they ok? Could one of them attacked the mandarin?

TTM only helps for ich, and if it were ich, other fish would have spots.

Kanaplex or Neoplex in a treatment tank would be what I would try.

Sorry, that doesn't look good at all. All I can suggest is to separate the fish in a treatment tank and dose it with Neoplex or Kanaplex.....

I’m leaving to grab some Neoplex now. I’ve never seen something like this, I’m so frustrated about it. This is my Biota mandarin I’ve been raising for over 2 years, so for this to suddenly happen to my favorite boy Im kinda at a loss for what to do right now.

Any clue as to if another fish in your tank might have attacked it?

Cleaner wrasse, yellow corris, two fangblennys, and a royal gramma who was kind of a twat, but never went after Rimuru.

He did have some tail damage, but it was just one split part. It melted down and got worse and worse after I moved him into a treatment tank. He already passed away unfortunately though.

Sorry for your loss.
Once settled, mandarins pretty easy.
I think some disagreement may have happened.

Sorry to hear and appears as injury or bacterial in which Seachem Neoplex would have helped
