Hi Everybody!

I have a 220 gallon display tank, with a 25(ish) gallon refugium. The display tank has (what I would consider) a deeper than normal sand bed (close to 3"). There is also a good jag of rock in the DT. Most of this system has only been up and running for a year, it was an upgrade from a 65 Gallon DT.

All this to say, I am starting to think about getting a mandarin dragonet and looking for some thoughts about my other inhabitants who may compete for food with the mandarin. The only two I can think of off hand is potentially my Sand Sifting Star and my Fusi Goby. The other fish are 5 cardinals, two anthias (might become 4 or 5), two tangs (blue and kole), fox face, two clowns, two chromis, and a damsel.

So what do you think too much competition?

Thanks!

Agreed. There is minimal competition from your current stock. The volume of aquaria and refugia is good too. I think the mandarin will be a good fit.
