Mandarin dragonets should i give up

Thanks it seems captive bred ones can also be just as picky from the reviews so I might try and find one that I know its frozen if I can
I have a captive bred one. I’ve never seen him eat anything but pods.
Maybe I’m not feeding the right food, or maybe pods just taste better and I have a lot. If I see the number of pods in my tank go down, I will use a live baby brine feeder (Paul B’s design).

I’d disagree. Mandarins are not a fish that need lots of space, as they drift along the rock work most of the time. If they only eat pods (no frozen) then I agree- 30 gallons is absolutely not appropriate.
If they do accept frozen they need at least 30 gallons. In my experience they only eat pods so yeah I guess you are right
