Mandarin/Emerald Crab compatibility

I recently picked up a Target Mandarin and boy, this guy is awesome!
I also noticed a bit of bubble algae growing on one of my frags that is attached to rock. If I get an emerald crab to help with the algae should I be concerned it would hurt the Mandarin. For reference the Mandarin is around 2 inches. Also for future reference, am I better off just taking the rest of my hermits out? Not sure what they do other than kill some snails, lol.

emerald crab should be fine with the mandarin.

I have 2 emerald crabs in my tank as well as a Mandarin goby, no problem.
