Hey can someone help me out with some instructions and/or pictures of how to make a brine shrimp feeder for my dragonettes? I know Paul b has one he designed but I'm having trouble locating some good instructions.

here ya go!

Personally, I've gone with as little as those little deli sauce cups with RO membrane mesh rubber banded around them and it worked. No holes drilled/poked either, just fish'em out take off the rubber band, and revel in the unholy stink of decomposed brine shrimp and rotting eggs (and maybe bristleworms).

Buuuuuuut when I decide to take up mandarins again...I think I'll just commission somebody to 3d print me a feeder (ooh, maybe with an o-ring. all the cool kids use o-rings and screw on tops)...it can't be that expensive, can it?

Thanks for the link but unfortunately all of the write ups I've found (your included) have linked me to reef builders which always gives me an error 404 message and won't open

What is ro membrane mesh??

Oh that's weird...even the youtube video? That one gave step by step instructions (although I mostly skimmed it).

Oooooh ok, so! RO membranes are weird little things. They actually have a few layers. There's the familiar blue outer layer, which is of no use for our purposes, and is quite sticky on the inside. After that is a very very tiny mesh, which is what I use for the the brine shrimp feeder. After that, is this weird white sheet, which I haven't found any good usages for. And after that is a much larger mesh, which you can use to catch fish/make a screen/do whatever with a fairly large mesh size. I think I saw PaulB say he was experimenting with it a year or so ago, and when it came time to replace my membrane, I figured might as well unroll it and see. Shameless plug: look for me on instagram (@ ichthyogeek ), and in one of my posts, you should be able to see what I'm talking about.

Barring not replacing RO membranes, you could also look for pantyhoses. Same principle though

OK so to be honest I assumed that video was the same one as the one in the link you posted and I didn't watch both (I can open your link, just not Paul's instructions link he had on that page). I'll check out this video! Thanks!

Sorry no Instagram acct here

Ok I just watched the video, it was very helpful! I need one of those airline connectors that screw onto a water bottle!!!
