Good morning everyone- I have a 75 gallon tank with loads of live rock - been going for a few months now and have dossed it several time with pods and phytoplankton, I have had my mandarin fish for about 2 weeks now and He was fat and healthy when I got him and he was inspecting all the rocks for pods and seem to be eating but the past 2 days he hasn't been moving as much and seems to be losing some coloration. Maybe my tank cannot sustain his eating habit which I tried to provide, My local store has the reef nutrition bottles of tiger pods and was thinking to get a bunch of them for him in hopes to save him. any other suggestions? thanks #reefsquad

Do supply and maintain adequate food source. With loss of color, i would focus on water quality and check:
Salinity
Tank temperature
Ammonia level
Nitrate level

Thanks, the nitrate did seem a little high, added some AmQuel plus and will check again and do water change tomorrow
