I have a mandarin about to go through QT. This will be my first time going through QT with one. My tank is full of pods. And I got some pods to put into the QT. But what should I have on hand for him to be eating in case the pods don't live? I already have Cyclops and Oyster feast

So, if you QT a mandarin and they dont show any signs of ick/velvet after a month how do you know they still aren’t carriers?

You don't, that's why treating prophylactically with CP is a good idea. If possible.

Nutramar ova is what I use. Very little goes a long way, but it may take a while for him to accept it.

My mandarin Kermit loves Nitramar ova. He accepted it right away but I think I lucked out with him.

I have tried asking local vets to prescribe that and they won’t. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
