Mandarin is missing

Hi about 5 days ago my mandarin jumped out the tank I put him back and for a day he was just under a rock and I haven't seen him since then their is plenty of food in the tank for him the only other fish in my tank is a flame angle orange shoulder tang wrasse and a goby any idea why it not out and is this normal

Are you sure he has not jumped again? Do you have a lid? Could he be in the overflow?
I had a female Ruby Red Scooter Blenny jump out of my tank when she was breeding with my male. Broke my heart when I found her the next day.

I've checked around to make sure and haven't seen him on the floor and I don't have a lid and it's not in the overflow
