So I Want to start off by saying that ,I will accept all criticisms with one exception, I don't want to badgered about tank size or methods I've taken to keep my mandarin alive. Okay, I have a wild caught mandarin that I saw at my LFS, it was fat and happy so I decided to take a chance and try my hand with mandarins.I've got it I my 29Gal biocube with 40-50 labs of LR and Live sand. At first it was very shy and would not come out much. Now It is more adventurous, it grazes allot of the day and it occasionally dukes it out with my Blenny. A few days ago I started introducing it to frozen foods ad it showed little interest in them. I tried the mandarin diner thing but it didn't like going into the jar so I made a cave and placed a mix of frozen Mysis and Brine shrimp onto the sand and it ate several bites. So tomorrow ill be trying other frozen foods in the same fashion Post the results. I have very high hopes for this fish and I hope this develops into a well written thread. Thanks for Reading. :D

I started off hatching my own brine, mixed hatched brine with frozen mysis and brine and pellets. And I kept doing that for a week. Even of he wouldn't eat it. And then he finally realized food comes from the turkey Baster and now my mandarin eats frozen or anything I put in the Turkey Baster. I tried feeding him like 3 times a day even if he fled. And now he's very fat and happy

I hope that mine will wise up a little more and eat anything that hits that water like every other fish in my tank.

OK, so I just fed bloodworms and brine shrimp enriched with some vitamin C and it I saw it grazing on it. It has started to gain weight again. And looks to be doing well, now I just had to try to get it to eat pellets.
