Mandarin troubles

My mandarin jumped out the tank and I was able to notice it in time. But I think it affected him because it took him like 20 minutes of jerk/floating until he settled on the bottom. Now he just stays there barely picking at food. And has this spot in his body.

Did this happen today? Let him settle for a while, Im sure you'd need time to recover if you fell from a great height

I ended up putting him in my macro tank that has a lid and yes it happened last night

Had the exact same happen. I thought for sure, dead.
He’s now three….very resilient

Yes I also think mine is extremely resilient. From almost starving and finding him floating getting pushed in the current to jumping out the cube‍My mandarin has been the most observed animal in my tank though they weren’t lying when they said it needs alot of care.

Mine jumped onto the overflow cover.
Found him by chance only, seemed a little stiff going back in, no idea how long out.
Was a big surprise.

When I found mine I was going to use the bathroom at night and walked passed it thinkin it was rubbish from my husky rippin things up, then I got a second thought and it clicked it my head it can be a fish I didn’t know how long either
