Mandarin

How long has it been playing dead for? You sure it’s playing?

Yes, they will turn pale and hide in a corner/crevice in the rock in order to sleep!
rarely but describe more in depth as to what you are seeing and even post a video under white light intensity of at least 20 seconds

It might be hard to get a video if it only happens after lights out. If it seems to be fine each morning then I wouldn't worry too much. Some fish look "dead" at night time. At least I've had fish that I thought were dead but got up just fine every morning.

Is the fish ok now? If you're referring to how it behaves at night as other have said it would be hard to say, but a lot of fish do barely move at night. A video would be helpful

Mandarins go pale and sleep at night. I was just telling the wife how I hate that king bob sleeps like that. That's why I came in here now. . So don't throw mandarins away in the morning please.
