Mandarins fighting or….?

Grabbed this video yesterday. Sorry for the blue lighting, but didn’t want to disturb the behavior. This is a red and a blue mandarin. It’s a large (8’) tank so plenty of space. If this is a fight, it’s very tame but really don’t know what this is. They hang out together a lot but didn’t think these would ‘pair up’. Any thoughts?

They're not fighting; I think they're just happy sharing each other's company. I assume they're male/female?

Ok, good to hear the reassurance. They are a male and female, but since one is a blue mandarin and the other a red, I didn’t think they would pair off but seems like they get along really well.

They are doing a dry run spawn. In a real spawn event the very last second they dart down from height and release a puff of eggs and sperms. IMO the red and green Mandarin are just variations of color of the same species. I have seen red and green mandarins and various shade between the two colors.
Here is my pair. A reddish male and greenish female.
The thin green bands are the same. The larger bands lighte orangish on the male and darker brownish on the female.
