I have a 68g reef tank with a very happy group of fish Listed below. Love my tank and they are all getting along. My Mandarin was originally from another tank and he is about 7month old in the tank. I got him into eating frozen brine and I also stock with tigger and tisbe for his natural hunting habits.
Since Im well stocked I want only one more fish but I was told not with my Mandarin.. I want a lawnmower blenny or a ruby red blenny. Since my Mandarin is fat and healthy and eats frozen food competition for food should really not be an issue. A few people say g for it others say no way.. I need to know what my trusted Reef to Reef group thinks??

Ok to add a sand dwelling blenny or goby with my current conditionings?

Yellow Tang
Dwarf angle
clown
fire fish
hawk
Midas blenny
PJ Cardinal
Royal grammar
Orange anthias
purple/yellow anthias
Mandarin goby
Yellow watchman goby
(rarely seen. Only sticks his head out once or twice a week for food and lives in a burrow with a pistil shrimp!

I dont have the lawnmower Ive heard they can be territorial. The ruby red is a good choice. Red or brown Scooters are good too. The Scooters have a Labrador personality. always happy. The rubys are just sweet.
My little Psyco dragon is a nut job. in a separate tank now. @nearly 2cm he bullied EVERYONE in the tank except the tabot damsel. They were buddies.
the reds are small though. make sure it doesnt fit in anyone elses mouth.

Thanks! Im glad to hear it! I LOVE the ruby red and I actually wanted one before the mandarin because I was afraid the manderine would starve but I just figured if I could not get him to eat frozen I would just have to keep a stock of pods.
He eats good! and is healthy.. I do have to target feed because he will slowly make his way to a piece of food and my tang will come out of nowhere! But we have a routine and everyone eats and everyone is fat!
Food will fall all around the Manderine and hit him in the head and yet he rarely gets it! He may get one if he's lucky! But I distract others then he gets his!
Ok thanks..
