Getting ready to set up a @Paul B mandarin feeder next week for these two mandarins!
Recently got a tiny female (~1.5 inch):
So far she is getting along with the 3 inch + male I've had in the tank for a month now:
They both spend most of the day hunting copepods. I provide supplemental feedings of live adult brine shrimp after gut loading them with phytoplankton until I can provide them with baby brine shrimp. I didn't think they could eat such huge shrimp but they went after them fast (mandarin speed.... slightly faster than my snail).
She enjoys hunting on top, in between, and under the frag rack.
He enjoys nibbling at the glass.
My yellow tang somehow photobombs every photo I take, if he could jump into that measuring cup he would have done it for the spotlight
Thanks for looking
