Manganese Sulphate

Hi all, having trouble finding manganese chloride here, but I have found manganese sulphate.

Can someone please tell me if this is suitable to add to either part of my 2 part? I'm assuming the Alk part would be the most suitable?

Do you mean magnesium chloride, not manganese chloride?

Magnesium sulfate cannot be added to either part of a two part. That is why I designed the DIY as a three part.

If you are in the US, you can buy magnesium chloride from BRS, Dr. Foster and Smith, etc.

In that case it is hard to say since the amounts should be very low. In general, sulfate salts cannot be mixed with the calcium part, but you are adding very little so calcium sulfate may not precipitate. I'd worry about manganese oxide precipitation in the alk part, but do not know for sure.
