thinking about starting a brackins tank with mangroves growing out the top and with roots for the fish to swim in.
Any tips on how to grow the roots out? Thinking about starting the mangroves in pots in the tank then removing the pots once the roots are the length I want them at.
My LFS has small plants I could buy but with no real roots yet. Does anyone know a spot to buy mangroves with established roots?
Any advice on mangroves is appreciated.
Thinking something like this but more roots

Alittle sunlight goes long way with these. If not , they'll be fine. Also I sealed top on mine, created humid conditions. They loved. In home tank best for them . Thanks for sharing

I grew out the mangrove roots by suspending the plant out of the water, but keeping the roots submerged, by tying the plant to a fiberglass rod. The rod is held in place by the substrate.
