I’m trying to find a solution for suspending my mangroves until the roots grow out. The issues I see are the variable size of the propogules, as well as the growth over time.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

This is what I’m doing currently lol

I actually bought these:

and I 3d printed modified connector pieces (as I have an Innovative marine tank and the glass was a bit too thick)

I resized the base stl to fit my PVC, and ziptied the mangroves to the top of the PVC. A couple rocks ontop of the base and its going strong over a year now. Top of the PVC can stick a frag in which is useful sometimes. at my current rate of growth i imagine itll take 5-10 years for it to support itself. Maybe there is a way to speed up growth with fertilizer or growing them outside first. But im happy with them so far.

Thank you! That’s almost exactly the kind of thing I need.

Please take a look at our solution.
