Mangrove leaves turning brown before sprouting out

Hey guys so I have a mangrove tank In brackish water and the leaves are browning on the tips before fully opening.
what am I doing wrong or what should I be doing.

Are you daily misting leaves with RO water?

That seems to the the 'secret' for gorgeous ones here, and that seems like too much work for me (and messy) so I've not personally tried mangroves - but I've coordinated getting more than 50 mangroves out here in the DFW area thru our hobby club frag swap raffles. People keep giving me feedback on what's working.

My guess would be not enough water getting to the leaves. How are the roots? Insufficient root structure could lead to what you’re seeing.

Or the leaves are somehow being burned.
