Mangrove plants

Can I grow a mangrove plant in my sump????has anyone done this and how do u go about it

Do you have an extra chamber for your mangroves and how big is your tank?

Yeah I have a deep sand bed in my sump.my tank is 150gallon and sump is 55gallon

As long as the Mangroves can take root & good lighting your good to go

Make sure the plant is higher than the water level, and the lighting requirements are no joke. We tried it and we couldnt get plants tall enough to compensate for the height of the 55 (we have the exact same specs as you), how high is your water level in the sump?
