I have two. I've had one for months and I can't seem to get leaves to grow. I've been spraying the tops with ro to avoid salt impact. So why won't the grow leaves. Just the black stub on top.

what are the consistent nitrate and phos readings here

Okay, I don't test phosphate. I know I should. But I have no issues which would suggest high phos. So I havnt bought the test. Tank parameters have been this for at least 4 months. Nitrite,nitrate, ammonia all test 0 you might say 1. But defanitly do not reach the first color change on charts. Salinity is 1.024-1.026 (top off). Temp is 79-81. Mag. Is 1300-1400, calc is 430-480, ph is 8.1, alk is 9.8 currently. Ranges from 8-11 (dosing). I have a phos sponge in my sump but serves more as a pod breeding home. Lol I grow sawblade, chaeto, and grape caulerpa in fuge with the two shoots.there are at least 3 types of macro in display. Alll macros in both have consistant growth accept shoots. :-(
