Mangrove swamp

Not at this time, I am going to follow how the mangrove growsin the pots. I just stuck the pods in the sump. Once pods started rooting, I place the pods in my live rock in the sump with a light. Nothing else.

The thought us the extra nutrients will help the seedlings grow and replicating natural environment.

I did not see a drop in my nutrients, I did see that I was dosing more magnesium.

Sorry wasn't talking about po4 no3 but trace elements that are needed for plants.

I dose Mineral salts with the balling method I use. That could be feeding the Mangrove in the past.

I would think that many plant food have a lot of nitrogen, this could lead to a GHA outbreak.

That it could. If it does lots of cuc in my future. I'm also planning to have other macros.

yup. Mine grew like weeds under the 7 lights I had over the mangrove lagoon. (7' tank, and those $35 grow light from Lowes)

Where whould you suggest I get some. I need sand on the bottom correct?

Sand yes.

I got mine from collecting.

KP usually has them and so does gulf marine specimens. Have ordered from both before for other stuff and always great service from both.
