Manifold on my 525xl

I am wanting to add a manifold to my 525xl. Does anyone know what MM the OD of the return piping is? I want to T off of it.

I just replaced mine with 3/4 pipe. You would need to remove the barb fitting from return line and then screw in the the Sch 80 3/4 Male adapter. I Put a good amount of tape on it and also a o-ring... then just built off that.

Do you have more pictures of your setup? I didnt even realize that barb fitting is threaded on. I thought it was glued lol.

I have a Red Sea 525XL. The overflow is the same size, so I ordered another one from Marineandreef.com. The product code is RRS42220 for $25. You can then cut it and transition it into your system. I would like to see more pictures of your build.

Honestly wish I would of done this over how I didn't, instead of shutting the tank down for an hour gluing stuff. It all panned out though. I can get some more pics tonight, right now I just have this one.

They're always a work in progress. Thank you for showing us. You must have a newer sump. My small ATO is on the side and over the socks. I'm trying to squeeze in a SK-5000, CW-200 Algae Scrubber, reactor, and skimmer. Where did you put the ATO?

its just the V3 sump. I have a 10 Gallon Trigger Acrylic ATO that is outside of my tank (wanted a bigger one for less maintenance), as well as more room in the cabinet. The Sk5000 fits but was a pain to get in. You have to make a little platform for it and do a lot of silicone cutting.
