My return pump plumbing is 1.25 inches into a T for the mabufold From that T it goes to a y that 1 inch for each side of the tank.

That all works and gives me plenty of flow

What I want to know is where the T is that's going to be for my manifold. It would be better if I could downsize it to 1 in. As far as the location of the manifold. Am I better off to keep it though at 1.25 in?

The items that are hooked up to it are the following.
1/2 reactor
1/2 reactor
1/2 reactor
3/4 UV
1 in Nu-Clear filter

The return pump is abyzz a400
Thanks

The difference between 1" and 1.25" plumbing is almost insignificant, IMHO. It's MUCH more about how much flow you get from your return pump.

The pump max out at 6000 gph.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Not sure how big your tank is or how much flow you are trying to get. The Abyzz is a powerful pump and can probably deliver what you need, but it will be running at a higher speed. The 1-1/4" will reduce the frictional losses which allows you to run the pump at a slower speed and reduced power consumption than if you used the 1".
