Manifold pressure to biopellet reactor help?

Besides clogging what could be causing lack of pressure to by aqua max biopellet reactor off my return pump (manifold)? When I first put on it flows very well. But after day or 2 slows down to almost nothing. I am thinking either 2 things since I don’t have a valve to restrict flow to main tank is it getting all the flow OR the small screen holes on the aqua max reactor just clogging too quick. If so did anyone drill bigger holes to allow more water though. Help

Age old problem with a manifold. Even a little back pressure caused by clogging will mean more water diverted to the less resistant manifold outlets. Using a dedicated pump is the best answer.

In addition to this;

How high are you tumbling the pellets? Perhaps you aren't getting enough flow and the pellets are mulming/channeling the low flow or the manifold is simply prioritizing flow to less resistant channels due to the reactor design.

Thank you both, I just got done taking it apart COMPLETELY this time. Yes I was lazy and only cleaned the outlet side. well the inlet side in the tube was completely clogged. I just hope this doesn’t need to be cleaned more often than I like. Lol. We will see
