Can anyone tell me how good this product is at killing aiptasia and manjano anemone. Aiptasia x isn't working and getting too expensive. I'm also thinking about berghia nudibranches but they are expensive and my wrass e might eat them. Is the wand worth it?

I went down this path, but for invasive red mushrooms. ive arrived at this:

there are two possible outcomes in your situation, and one of them works every time to rid your system of the invasions. the other varies

after majano wanding myself sick and buying two diff units off amazon, only to have the partial pedal tissue leftover just regrow, I finally opted in to the guaranteed fix method of removing the rocks from the tank and using a screwdriver to chip off each anemone, anchor point included

in the end my rock looked scarred but it was free of anems

two weeks later I noted some missed stragglers, arising from the leftovers Id missed. removed rock, took just a fraction of the time to locate them and scrape. within two attempts a 3 yr scourge was removed from my tank.

the variable method is anything other than that, this includes all anemone invasions not just red evil mushrooms.

I've got one I have used on majano, aiptasia, and rogue shrooms all with pretty good success. You really have to cook them with it, though, or they'll come back. I haven't used kalk/aiptasia-x in years since I got the wand.

to this, in 48 hours, no chems, only a screwdriver and some vinegar to dissolve the encrusted portions up top (a real micro fringing reef developed here, dang those shrooms for killing the sps Id planted there!!)

That's good. If i can kill enough so it isnt unsighty and bother my corals it is good enough for me.

I just got a matted file fish and my problems were over with.

I got a couple peppermint shrimp from a local reef club member and they wiped out my aiptasia problem within a month. They were everywhere.

My tank is a reef tank so I don't want fish like filefish and butterfly to eat them.

I tried peperment shrimp before. Sadly it didn't work and slowly one by one they got picked off.

Yeah, the first ones I got from a lfs did nothing and got picked off like yours. I just got lucky I guess with a friend that had a proven pair. I'd like to pass them on. After I put them in one of my other tanks for a few days.

I have had one in my reef for two years. The key is a matted file fish aka apitaisa eater link

I just returned one to the it's he ate no aiptasia and starting picking at my scoli and acans I guess with those fish as with any it's about luck with a specific fish.
What did in look like?

+1 on matted file fish. Mine is in a SPS dominant reef and doesn't bother the corals as long as I feed mysis at least once a day. Same with Klein's butterfly in my nano. It took a few weeks for the file fish to develop an interest in the aiptasia, but once it did, it was game over.

I used peppermint shrimp. Wiped them out in a couple of weeks.

or some mrs wages pickling lime in a syringe. they don't don't like that at all. If you're ready a Copper band will take care of the apastia forYa.
