I’ve been very interested in getting a mantis shrimp, I’m wondering what size, what kind of tank so it doesn’t break, and what I need for a mantis tank. Thanks!

And what can I put in the tank? Just the shrimp or any tank mates? Totally new to this

I’ve not kept mantids myself but here’s a website put together by a guy at Berkeley that lists off many (all?) the species in the aquarium trade, pros/cons to each species, care needs, tank sizes, etc. Everywhere I’ve read about mantis shrimp his name comes up sooner or later as a good source of information.
