Mantis Tornado 120 Skimmer and new sump

Well i have been having trouble with my Nitrates and everything I have tried has had limited success. I had a ATS with limited GHA growth as I think my lights may have to bright. Switched to a bio pellet reactor. My bio pellets imo are just starting to kick in so a bigger skimmer to handle the return was in order. I decided to try a larger skimmer and since I have been super happy with the tornado mantis dc return pumps thought I would give their skimmers a crack. As usual the skimmer chamber on the old sump was to small so I had to build a new sump to fit the skimmer.
This is the skimate being produced after literally 15minutes of switching the skimmer on...looks so promising. Also the new sump is sooooo clean

So far highly recommend the Mantis Skimmer

You need a bigger sump!
