Hey MG21 welcome to CZ bro!! ;)

Rev-thank you for welcoming Mark(MG21), he has a sweet collection of acans but I can't ever get him to post pics-lol

That's it Mark post pics or else! :D 'm ready for your tank thread now Mark. ;)

Your SPS system looks great, but why do it with no sand bed? If you had problems with it, then maybe you had then crush coral to when I would gone with aragonite sand. As of right now, im in a search on Zoas and polyps to see if and what I can manage in my SPS once started. From what I can gather, the Zoas are very aggressive and must be feed regularly, if not often. I a number of articles I found on the Zoas, and when the time, I will give them a going over and make some notes to what I readied.

Your SPS tank is still in the early stages from what I can tell. Also, are you planing on having clams? For im no idea to how you do it in where you be placing them if any. In my tanks, right now is about a 2.5" DSB and I will raise this to 4.5"

Buddy-I run barebottom in order that I do not have enough time nor patience to maintain a sandbed and the flow would move sand all over the tank. The tank is just over a year old and most corals began as frags, I have a 12-14" gigas and a 7" maxima that sits in the rocks. I have seen zoa's in an sps tank but they will eventually crowd the acro bases after not too long-all out war at that point-I have zero zoanthids in my display tank.

Thank you much stone man!! More room=more corals=:D :D :D

Yes, what little I readied I know that the Zoas will crowd with the SPS corals and there would be a coral war as they say. I still however will finish up as plan, researching on the Zoas and im sure it will only be another dead end for me. Now as of this moment, my last choice will be that I will have a number of corals like brains or so that aren't so much in price, and will return to the LFS once I other corals which I would desire more to have. I not wish to have leathers of soft corals in general, for I had enough of those when I done a soft coral tank. Now I wish to do something that I known so many to had quitted. But besides the brains, what other corals you started with? The corals I would only use to help age the tank, I not want to get any corals that would attach themselves to the LR.
