March 5th tank

So I started this 75 gal tank on March 5th. Stupidly I put a free 8 inch stars and stripes in after cycle. I was using well water and then ro water from work and my tank was going crazy parameter wise. Just in last 2 weeks have parameters settled down. Now using rodi water which helped alot. Still looking to get rid of puffer but he is ok for now. Green algea at first was a minor issue. Now it's turning brown. Isitturning brown now because my parameters are where they should be?
