Hello, am I right in thinking that marco dry rock doesn't need to be cured and can be put straight into my new tank for when I set up ?

Rinse it first as it will have a ton of dust on it. But you can build your aquascape outside the tank, and then place it in and fill it up. It has zero life on it when you buy it.

Depends on how you define "cured". As stated there is no die off, but there is also no bacteria......so it still has to be cured in that sense. It can be done in your tank though to answer your question.

If you get it from BRS it doesn't even need to be rinsed, there will be no die off and there's not really any dust either. It will still need to be cycled but that can be done in tank or in a bucket.
