I've only seen pictures of it covered in cyano or hair algae but never in coralline. Does it exist ? Starting to believe it doesn't.

Mostly Marco rock from BRS and an LFS; the tank is now 10 months old. The rocks were all pre-treated in a brute with acid wash, lanthanum chloride, and then curing. A large amount of coralline algae from another tank was also added to the DT shortly after the rocks were transferred in, and again several more times thereafter. There was no 'ugly' stage at all; I had a thin film of brown algae for about a month which gradually gave way to pink and purple coralline. :)
