Umm nice fish!

Thanks Rev it's first time I ever saw one in person. Wife was first to say gotta have it lol.

Maroons are big bullies. I would suggest something that would be able to stand up for itself and to add them together. Probably damsels and other hardy and aggressive fish. Ive dealt with them with clients. They are like bull dogs.

First fish going into a new tank is going to be a Lightening Maroon Clown?
Are those fish still in the $350+ range?

Was 300 and won't be added for a while buddy is holding for couple months till completely ready n by then we will add a couple others all together and be done with fish stock of tank so everyone is off equally n hopefully less trouble. But undesided on its tankmates. We have the luxury of adding them to try before bringing home at my buddy's store he is using it as a display for his store till ready. But it's basically going to be his and a nem as main fish was thinking a zeba Catalina goby n a swimmer and be stocked other then corals n cuc.

The price on them seems to be coming down.
Are you planning on getting a mate for it?

It is a nice fish.

We are discussing what to look for as far as a mate for it. But haven't decided yet. Suggestions are welcome.

Best mate for a Lightning Maroon is probably going to be a PNG Morse Code from Sea & Reef. Shop that had this Lightning should be able to get you the morse code as well..both are being produced by Sea & Reef in good quantities. Morse Codes should be less expensive...so let that lightning grow a lot, then get a significantly smaller Morse Code; that should ease (but not eliminate) the difficulties of pairing a maroon. But...once paired...you'll be gold. And I've found all my Maroons to be pretty mellow fish frankly...all clownfish can be aggressive when they're defending a nest...that's really what ramps them up. But the fish in this line seem to be generally timid compared to their 'reputations'.

Here's new pic of her "bones" she's home and healthy and got Heck of a deal and ended up getting her for 230 :D

Thank you Matt we will definitely take your advice and find a Morse code after she grows and thank you for your advice and time working to bring these beautiful fish to us I've followed the lightning project since beginning.
