Marine/ aquarium Possible bacterial infection help?

I recently got numerous sores/ blisters on both of my hands after glueing down a order of acro frags in my tank. I have seen several doctors and they believe it's marine in origin. One had a culture which is due back Friday. All this happened in a weeks time span. Here some pics

Has anybody seen anything like this?

Any anemones in the tank? Some are know to give a nasty sting. Hope it gets better soon

No, only acros in my tank.

could definitely be an infection from the aquarium. Could have gotten in through a small cut. Possibilities include Mycobacterium Marinum or Vibrio.

RiverRat, those are the ones I had found on the net. Actually Vibro is a problem in my town right now. A few fishermen have been killed recently by it. Hopefully the culture come back with a specific. Do you think that I'm at risk of recontracting this my tank?

From now on out I would use non powder coated gloves when you handle something in your tank man.I hope they get it figured out.I did read something a week or so ago where a few guys had contracted a flesh eating bacteria in that part of FL,but it was from being in a river I believe.Best of luck brother

Yeah, probably going to start using no powdered gloves when handling corals. I hope the bacteria or what ever isn't planktonic in nature.
