That is so symmetrical it almost looks like a piece of something stuck to him but I doubt that’s the case. @4FordFamily @HotRocks any ideas?

It looks like a foreign object. Have you recently glued or epoxied anything in the tank? With the fish present?

As of now, I agree it’s something that got stuck and may well fall off soon

that’s my vote to looks like something stuck to her mouth. i habe superglued things recently. just wait this one out i reckon.

it stayed in same place overnight. then in the next 24hours some fell off the outside but some is still stuck to the inside. should i trap fish and try to manually remove?

I think I would give it some more time. You don’t want to pull it off and cause a wound that gets infected.
