Marine Biology Books?

Anyone have some suggestions on books about marine biology? Nothing too complex, just some entry level things.

Whew. A subject as vast as the ocean.
Honest , you’d have to get a bit specific. Fish , inverts , bugs or general topics and introduction to the sciences.

I had to read this one twice. Slowly.

Or if you’re trying to understand that cyano bacteria is our direct ancestor and you May have some Chemi clean guilt.

I like this one , but it’s very specific to coral and how they came being, with a focus on individual coral reef (big ones across the glI’ve) “coral kingdoms” by Carl roessler. It has lots of bright images, my son loves it as well

Awesome! When there’s downtime at work I’ve been reading a book about invert Identification. Sadly my school library doesn’t have a lot of books on marine biology. Can’t wait to take oceanography next year! There’s a whole unit on picking one marine animal and researching it.
