Marine Color Dosing Pumps

Does anyone here have any experience with the Marine Color Dosing Pumps? I have seen them on ebay and they are from China. I have also read about them on another forum and have not heard much objection, if any, to them there. It is my understanding that the BM pump heads work in this unit as well.

I am considering purchasing one to help meet my tank's demands as it seems that I can't get my kalk reactor tuned in properly and am supplementing with 2-part.

I appreciate anyone sharing any information they may have.

I had one and I used it for 2 months before shutting it down, it did a great job keeping everything in check, all you have to do is calibrate it and set the amount you want to dose over a 24hr period or 12hrs period which ever you prefer and thats it. Only doese the amount you need daily and you will be all set. I give it 2 thumbs up and a great price for a cheap dosing pump option

i would do a google search i know some users had to open the doser up and solder some leads after awhile

I have done some searching. I have no problem doing a little soldering if need be. It's just awfully hard to want to spend twice for a BM if this thing works just as well.

I'll likely be ordering one this week.

A buddy of mine has been running for 2 years with no problem as far as I know. I was just talking to him about getting a dosing pump and he says he highly recommends. So ill be buying in near future!

Thanks for the information, Pappy. I just sold some things, so as soon as the money hits my paypal, I'm going to pull the trigger on one as well.

I run a BM ..no issues .Have two friends that own MM units .
One had a small issue with loose wiring ..Easy fix .The other has had some kinks .Pumps have to dose 5 seconds more on pump 3 and 10 seconds more on pump 2 ..to match the calibration up .
He does run them 8 times a day .He ordered new heads .
Hope that fixes it for him .
