Hello guys, I have about had it with Marine Depot at this point and I really cannot advise anyone to make any purchases from this company if you care about warranty or customer service. Let me explain the current situation:
Purchased a sulfur reactor with media from Marine Depot and had it up and running for a few months. The pre filter inlet had a slight drop leak to it, but ignored it as it was not a big deal. One day I come home from work and the reactor has suddenly stopped working. I assume the aqualifter or reactor pump itself maybe died for some reason, so both were replaced by me immediately. After swapping both out, now all quick disconnect joints are leaking! So now I am thinking maybe somewhere it got clogged, so I strip it down and check everything, no clog that I can see/find. Finally I get so fed up I contact support about this and they order me a new part for the reactor to try and fix the issue (awesome so far right?). After receiving the part, leaks still happen so I call them back that day and tell them it did not fix the issue. Agent tells me ok, I will contact manufacturer and get back to you within two days with a solution. I waited a week for an answer and got nothing so I called back and I got told that the rep that was handling my case was away from his desk, but he would be told to contact me back within 2 days (here we go again). I waited 4 days for a call and still nothing, so now I try live chat and spoke with Omar, I explain situation to him and he looks it up, see the issue on my account and says ok I will personally handle this and get back to you within 2 days. Were now approaching day 4 and you guessed it still nothing. All I wanted is a working reactor and it's really a shame because marine depot is suppose to be here for the hobbyist, and yet they can't handle calling me back?
