Hey all, as you know I am always out on the hunt for best products for my reef tank. Marlin (H20poloman) mentioned this product on our local forum and is having great results with it. Keep in mind Marlin was using Tropic Marin Pro Reef. I also am a hard core Tropic Marin Pro Reef user. Does anyone have any experience with this Marine Enviroment Dual Phase salt mix???? I have read that this company has been around since 1971 and I have heard a lot of people having success with it and others that don't like. Let me know what you think before I go get some.

Thanks
Kevin

I have used it when I kept a reef tank (I have a fowlr now as I am more of a fish guy). It is a great salt, but if you have a tank dominated with clams and sps, you will still need to add calcium, alkalinity and magnesium.

Salt isn't as big of a deal if you are dosing or have a calcium reactor. Either way a basic salt is all you need especially if you are dosing a bizillion different things and keeping track of weekly levels.

Oh I dose manually every 2 days.... I have seen difference in coral health and color in the past with different salt mixes... I have used other salt brands but always ended up going back to tropic marine pro reef. A friend of mine used this salt and head great results.. I was wondering if anyone had experience with this product
