Marine FOWLR and Reef Rock

Not Interested in corals anymore. Setting up Fish only Tank w damsels clowns blennies and gobies. Dwarf angels also. Want to only use rocks and No substrate for ease of Maintanance. Will blennies and gobies actually suffer if No Substrate? Also trying to cut down on weight as I live in second Floor apartment. any thoughts.

Certain ones will care, and certain ones won't. Any sandsifting gobies, like diamond, won't work. I would also skip any watchman gobies. Clown gobies are fine, for example. Most blennies will be fine.

Lots of folks do go 'bare bottom,' so there aren't big problems going that way. You can have high flow and vacuum out all debris.
