Barely noticed this on my neon goby and there’s some dots on my clownfish who I named so I need all the advice. I’m willing to do a complete tank breakdown or buy a new hob filter for a hospital tank. I only have a really old bottle of rid ich plus atm.

Hospital tank set up, with any HOB filter and a heater. Dont use that ich stuff, just go buy copper power or copper safe, and a reliable test kit. 2.0-2.5 ppm is the recommended theraputic level.

+1, looks like ich (although neon gobies can sometimes get random white spots). Coppersafe at 2.5 ppm is my go-to. Another option would be hyposalinity at a specific gravity of 1.009 (no invertebrates of course).

How long do I need to treat them for? Is there a timeline to follow or when they don't have white dots they are ok? And the ich inside my tank how long do I have to wait for the life cycle to complete without any fish?

A full treatment period with copper is 30 days, the tank would have to be fishless or "fallow" for 70-80 days. The exact amount of days is highly debated.

You will need to place fish in Quarantine tank and treat with Coppersafe or Copper Power at therapeutic level 2.25-2.5 For a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.
The display tank will have to be kept fishless (FALLOW) for 6-8 weeks to assure the existing parasites go through their life cycle without a host fish and die off
A quarantine tank can be as simple as a starter kit from Walmart which most of the needed essentials.

I think I got covid my body suddenly crashed I'm too tired to do a good job on this. I think I'm just going to do salinity on the neon goby because he has it bad and I don't need to go out and buy a lot of stuff. If any other fish start getting it bad I'll move them too.

what will be filtration in that tank, when you add food ammonia will raise?

You must monitor ammonia levels with a reliable test kit to assure no toxicity and change with water and copper at level to maintain the copper level cycle
